The first idea was to relax on the island of Zakynthos, but the flight is practically doubled from one day to another, so “bye Zakynthos”. Then, after looking at some beaches’ photos on google, the goal has become Croatia, especially island of Brac.
Unfortunately there was a hitch with the booking of the flight: a tragic mistake. From Milan Malpensa destination Dubrovnik, but this city is about 400 km from Split, the port from which a daily ferry to Bol, a nice town on Brac. Time and money down the drain, but the mistake has opened up new travel possibilities.
This is the final itinerary: a few days in Dubrovnik, then by bus up north, towards Split, crossing the channel of Neum in Bosnia (a trip, in theory, up to 5 hours), then a few days in Bol and finally the last days in the charming Jelsa on the island of Hvar.
In summary: Dubrovnik (maybe with an excursion in the beautiful and very natural island of Mljet), Split, Bol (with Ztlani Rat beach) on Brac island, Jelsa on Hvar island, then Split again to return back home.
